Why you should learn Cybersecurity?

You might have heard that Cybersecurity has great job career opportunity. Well, that is true. According to U.S. BUREAU OF LABOR STATISTICS, "Employment of information security analysts is projected to grow 35 percent from 2021 to 2031, much faster than the average for all occupations". It further explains that High demand is expected for information security analysts.

At this time, there are 769,736 cybersecurity job openings in the USA alone, according to Cyber Seek. And the demand is projected to increase more than any other IT roles in the coming years.

We know the question you're struggling with: Why is so many people couldn't get a job then?

Well, here is the question: why is so many people couldn't get the job if there are this plenty of job openings? That's an honest question. And the answer is also straight forward: Employers couldn't get the right skills they need. Unlike other jobs, cybersecurity requires you to have specific and demonstrated skills to help companies solve their security nightmare. That's what we will train you for.

Our Approach: Bimodal

At CyberHahu, we strategized how you can develop your skills that much what's required by employers. We have recognized that the day of learning the theories and getting a job has gone long ago. You need to get hands-on skills which you can proof to the employer that you can actually do the job and be of value to them. To this end, we adopted a bimodal approach to meet the need of our community:-

                   I. Projects for Job Seekers

One of the main obstacles that cybersecurity job seekers face is lack of experience required by job postings. Well, in absence of real experience, which you don't have, how can the employer trust your skill? The solution is projects! As there are limited job seekers with experience employers are using projects to recruit for the role.

This approach is for those who are trained in cybersecurity but couldn't land jobs or even get an interview. Your resume definitely needs to have cutting edges projects even to get interviews let alone to get offers. Projects concentrate on networking, forensics, Linux, and Cybersecurity.

Eligibility requirement: To be eligible to be admitted to this path, applicant should:-

  • have attended/graduated or is attending cybersecurity training through formal school, boot camps or self-study
